GYROTONIC® Level 1 Apprentice Review Course
with Master Trainer Paula Rivera

Course and Registration Information
The Gyrotonic Level 1 Apprentice Review Course is the third course in the Gyrotonic Level 1 Teacher Training Program. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course 30 course hours over 6 days Upon Successful Completion: Apprentices who have successfully completed this course and a minimum of 60 teachings hours over a period of 6 mo.-1 year are eligible to proceed to the Gyrotonic Level 1 Final Certificate Course. At least two weeks must elapse between the last day of the apprenticeship review course and the final certificate course. Full course details, including meeting times, payment information, and refund policies are available in the registration form. Total Course Fees: $1400, includes $350 Studio Fee and $1050 Course Fee. Studio fee is due with registration. Course fee is due on first day of course. $30 discount for return students. $50 discount if paid in full at time of registration. To register: 1. PAULA RIVERA comes to the Gyrotonic Expansion System from an extensive background in dance and fitness. Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Paula was first exposed to the Gyrotonic method as part of her early dance training, and later returned after a successful career as a professional ballet dancer performing in the US and internationally. A lifelong passionate interest in health, fitness and the mind body connection has motivated Paula to seek avenues that allow her to develop as an athlete and an artist from a healthful, grounded place. A passionate Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis instructor and Master Trainer, Paula is a co-founder and owner of Union Square GYROTONIC® located in New York City.
GYROTONIC® Archway Level 1 Course

Learn to apply Gyrotonic movement principles to exercises on the Archway. Prerequisite: Certified Level 1 Gyrotonic or Level 1 Gyrokinesis Trainer Upon Successful Completion: Fulfillment of Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for current GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® trainers; Certificate or Attestation of Completion provided by Gyrotonic International Headquarters. Maximum: 4 students Total Course Fees: $1425, includes $375 Studio Fee and $1050 Course Fee. Studio fee is due with registration. Course fee is due on first day of course. Jane (she/her) began studying and teaching the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods in 2001. She initially sought out the work to heal from dance related injuries while performing in NYC. Since then she has taught sessions and teacher training courses worldwide to people of all walks of life, ages, backgrounds, and healing goals. With training as a professional dancer, choreographer, improvisor, Craniosacral therapist, and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, she brings a wide knowledge base of experience and hands on approaches to each session. Jane aims to meet each person exactly where they are and trusts in the inherent wisdom of their body. This becomes the basis of the cooperative journey she embarks on with each student. As a Master Trainer, Jane is dedicated to continually learning more about the human body in movement. She has studied with Juliu Horvath the creator of the GYROTONIC® method and many other Master Trainers.
GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Apprentice Review Course

To help apprentices review and practice the Gyrokinesis Level I Foundation Course material and prepare for the Gyrokinesis Level I Final Certificate Course. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Gyrokinesis Level 1 Foundation Course and have taught ~15 classes Upon Successful Completion: Once apprentices have successfully completed all apprenticeship requirements, they are qualified to proceed to the Gyrokinesis Level 1 Final Certificate Course. At least two weeks must elapse between the apprenticeship review course and the Gyrokinesis Final Certificate Course. At least six months must elapse between the foundation course and the final certificate course. Maximum: 8 students Total Course Fees: $725, includes $200 Studio Fee and $525 Course Fee. Studio fee is due with registration. Course fee is due on first day of course. Discounts available for returning students and payment in full at time of registration.
